The Remembrance Scholarships were established in the names of the 35 students lost in the terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 while returning home from study abroad through Syracuse University. These scholarships and the mission of the Remembrance Scholars – to educate the campus community about terrorism and to benefit the community through service – stand as a living memorial to their spirit of exploration and discovery.
Alumni, family, and friends can support the Remembrance Scholars in their mission to Look Back, and Act Forward in memory of those lost by directing a gift to the Remembrance Scholarship fund – or sponsor a scholar for a year with a gift of $5000.
